Morning Star, established in the year 1966 and named after Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, is an institution, through the portals of which many doctors, engineers, professionals and officers have passed through. hence, I gratefully thank Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ for guiding us with his divine presence and leading us all through the past 43 years.

We are indeed highly indebted to our dear departed founders,

Mr. S. Arputharaj & Mrs. Grace Arputharaj, whose foresight, and dedicated service were key factors responsible for morning star attaining its present stature. though they are not with us today, yet we express our profound gratitude and our heart-felt thanks to them.

in 1973, the untiring efforts of our founders led to the recognition of this school as an All India Senior Secondary School affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. in 1989, acceding to the wishes of the parents, we switched over to the Tamil Nadu State Matriculation System as a matriculation & higher secondary school. in consonance with the present trends on education, special emphasis is laid on Upgradation in Infra-structure, Methodology of Teaching and also on Co-Curricular Activities, since we desire to develop the Total Personality of Each Student. we have educative and entertaining video cds for our kindergarten and primary children catering to pre-school curriculum. it is a sure attention grabber with a playful introduction to music and magic of nursery rhymes, fruits, colours, actions, body parts, numbers and alphabets. we take your little ones to a world of entertainment as they sing, dance, giggle and have loads of fun, boosting your child’s confidence, which is your child’s natural desire to learn. you can read about all our Special Features which are mentioned in this Website and thus can learn more about our school.
